Rest your index and middle fingers together on the pulse point in your neck (carotid artery) or wrist (radial artery). Grab a watch with a second hand and count the number of heart beats in 10 seconds, then times this number by 6. That’s your resting heart rate. It’s best to measure this first thing in the morning before having any stimulants like coffee or tea.

  • Green Zone
